What is BiggieSmall?
BiggieSmall is a simple batch image resizing app. Distributing large digital images can be a pain. Large images can take a long time to email or upload to the web
(many email systems won't even allow sending attachments over a certain size!), the recipient of the images might not want to download such large files, and large images might
not display correctly on the web. BiggieSmall is great for quickly creating beautiful, small, interpolated (smoothed) images.
BiggieSmall can preserve valuable image metadata (such as EXIF data) and can hard-transform images based on their "Orientation" tag, which will guarantee that transformed (such as rotated) images display correctly in all environments.
Using BiggieSmall
Using BiggieSmall to resize images consists of three basic steps:
- Add source images to BiggieSmall by clicking the "Add" toolbar item at the top-left of the main window, or by dragging images/folders
with images in them onto the window.

- Choose the desired output resolution under the "Scaling:" label at the bottom of the main window, then the export format under the "Format:" label.
(See the BiggieSmall help guide by choosing Help -> BiggieSmall Help from inside the program for more information about these options).

- Click the "Export" toolbar item at the top-right of the window, choose a location for your new files, and sit back as BiggieSmall does
the heavy lifting.
